On-Line CPR and AED Training

June 1-7 is the first annual National CPR/AED Awareness Week. The purpose of National CPR/AED Awareness Week is to spotlight how lives can be saved if more Americans know CPR and how to use an AED. During this week, American Heart Association, American Red Cross, and National Safety Council chapters across the U.S. will conduct CPR/AED demonstrations and instructional classes, host events, and provide educational information on the importance of CPR and AED training.

Recognizing National CPR and AED Awareness Week, the National Safety Council is offering you and your family free on-line CPR and AED training from June 1-7. The opportunity is an easy and convenient way for you to learn or renew critical skills that could make the difference between life and death for family member, colleague or any individual experiencing cardiac arrest. Please note this training does not include CPR and AED Certification. To be certified, you must attend a classroom skills testing course conducted by state and regional chapters and training agencies of the National Safety Council. A fee may apply.

In Fairport, another infected student at Northside Elementary School was responding favorably to treatments. Read More
